In a flight from Canada arrived to our hotel the first repeat guests from that market since on May the first started to operate the former Barceló Cayo Largo under the new name Playa Blanca. |

The big family now of Playa Blanca Hotel will continue enjoying the same special treatment as it was before. Special dinner, late check out free if availability, being member of the website dedicated to our faithful clients are some of the facilities they will keep enjoying. Playa Blanca was during the latest high season the hotel with the highest repeat guests’ level, a record that we hope to keep during the next season. |

place where this picture was taken could not be a better spot, this
couple together with the entertainment staff where they spend most of
their time and one of the reasons why Louisa is an outstanding student
in Spanish lessons and she is able to talk with any Cuban already. You can always see these happy clients talking with workers, participating in all the activity entertainers organize or enjoying a tasteful cocktail with our barmen, it is what you can see, they are part of our great family Barceló, we had the chance to see them before they leave at the airport and they just say…¨see you in November¨. |

| Canada has continuously increased its growth in significant form in the emission of clients to the destiny Cayo Largo and specially to Barceló Hotel. | ||||||||||||

The
closing of the month of February, the Canadian market showed a
significant growth with respect to equal period of the previous year of
a 29%, giving this market the first place of emission of tourists and it
represents the 68,8% of market of this hotel. It is significant in this market, the amount of repeat clients, for whom the hotel has prepared a loyalty program, that counts on Special Dinners, a customized Web site for them, among others action. |

| It is the second time in this year, visit number 17th at Barceló Hotel CL in the 5 years of operations and the 23rd the destiny , where they will be this time for 14 nights. | ||||||||||||

David and Linda always very glad, they can be seen at very early hours in the morning crossing our beaches, as if they do not want the Sun to go ahead to them or sharing a joke with our workers, taking their morning coffee in the Lobby bar. He feels the hotel like his house, we call David ¨Santi Clo¨, by his white beard and its heavy body, Linda is possible to be seen knocking on doors of the offices to give the workers good morning, who already have become part of their family. |

| Answering the question of Why they return every year up to three times to the Hotel? they do not doubt in responding and with special tone and shinning eyes, say to us, We returned for their people. | ||||||||||||

ALEX AMONG US, ONCE AGAIN |

|
When we heard the news we didn’t believe it. Alex, the youngest repeat client of Barceló Hotel and his parents were back in the resort. Two weeks ago we said good bye to them at the lobby with a huge kiss of receptionists, bell boys, entertainers and some other workers who gathered there to see the expressive eyes of that kid which, for the first time, seemed to be hidden in the sadness of the farewell. |
||||||||||||
|
Once at his house, the boy kept the routine of calling his favorite workers who are not a few any more to become a growing long list. On Thursday April the 2nd Alex came back and now he shows with proud a shinning necklace that reads Cayo Largo and keeps as a trophy for his fidelity plus being an inseparable attire of his clothes. His parents enjoy how the infant mixes with the rest of the clients in one of the big hall of the buffet restaurant during the breakfast, also when he takes the little train to go to Paraiso beach or when he holds the hand of the public relation man to walk through out the hotel. |

This
family has visited our hotel three times this year. Cuba has been the chosen
country in more than 17 occasions at places such as
Holguín and Varadero but
Cayo Largo del Sur
and our resort specifically, has a magic that doesn’t allow them to think
about another choice anymore say Adriana and Laurentiu,
Alex’s parents. Day by day we see the Barceló boy, as some people call him. His restless behavior does not surprise us anymore; it has become part of our daily life. There is not doubt about it; this little boy is a good example of the new generation who loves our hotel and will always do. |

Alex
is a common kid, his green eyes and beautiful golden curly hair call the
attention of any person that sees him sitting in his stroller or just in
his father’s arms. But this 2 years and a half infant has something
special that makes him call the attention at his young age. Alex loves
and dreams with the Barceló Hotel. His parents have been loving Cuba and its people for a long time now and they visited a lot of different locations until one day they decided to come to Cayo Largo. |

| At the beginning it was just another hotel till one day, destiny brought them here and from that moment on it has been the easiest decision to take any vacation time. Visiting Barceló. | ||||||||||||

Alex has experienced, since the very beginning the warmth of our beaches, he has laughed of the jokes of barmen or he has been carried out in the arms of any working maids. His parents say that even in Montreal, the city where this little boy lives, he pretends being here and calls one of his favorite barmen to order the drinks he likes the most. |

| His face shines and his little heart gets bigger when it is disco baby time, he never misses one. He is even able to drink and even enjoy some soft drinks that he never tries at home. His love for the hotel makes him break the routine here although sometimes he is so tired he just can’t. | ||||||||||||

| New clients reach Distinguished Guests category in Cayo Largo del Sur | ||||||||||||
| During last Sunday’s afternoon was held at Cayo Largo Museum House a meeting where it was given the important Distinguished Guest distinction to clients David and Linda Alber from Canada with 22 visits to our destiny, 16 of them to Barceló Cayo Largo Hotel and also to Elfriede and Dieter Teske from Germany who already have 30 visits since 1984 and stay in our resort right now. | ||||||||||||

| Distinguished Guests movement was created on February 20th, 2002 as a tribute to the 20th anniversary of Cayo Largo Foundation as a tourist destiny and since then, more than 50 clients hold the distinction. | ||||||||||||
