Through this letter I would like to show my appreciation to all those persons who have made possible Barceló Cayo Largo family becomes more than a hotel or a name the place where its people is what matters (workers and clients as well)
I still remember that Wednesday the First of August, 2007 when I arrived to the hotel and employees themselves used to say, buff…now we have to change again all the orientations based on the new ones this manager brings.
Clients used to claim for an interview with the Director, when they saw me they didn’t want to believe it. When I started talking to them they kept replying for the manager of the resort, for them it was hard to understand such a young man could be the maximum responsible as it certainly was.
Since the day I arrived here till the latest May the 2nd, I have been the man in charge of the hotel; it has been 21 month that for me were like 21 days. I ´m leaving this place with sorrow because I was always treated as the father of a big family who have been able to work with his kids and guide them in a way the learning process has been in both directions.
That is why I really hope, day by day, this family we have created together keeps growing and gets better and better with lot of success in the forthcoming days.
